In addition to collecting, preserving, exhibiting and communicating art, one of the main tasks of the Kunsthaus Zug is art historical research. Research is carried out on holdings of the company's own collection. In particular, the Kunsthaus Zug is regarded as a centre of excellence for Viennese Modernism. Research is also carried out in the context of major thematic exhibitions. The results are included in exhibitions and their mediation as well as in thematic and monographic publications published by international publishers and can be found in specialist libraries worldwide. They can be purchased in our museum shop on site or online from the respective publishers.
All publications listed here are related to the Kunsthaus Zug. With a few exceptions, all were published by the Kunsthaus Zug, the Zuger Kunstgesellschaft or Matthias Haldemann. Exhibition catalogues of other institutions are listed when the exhibition was also shown at the Kunsthaus Zug or for collection collaborations.
